Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve has always been a big deal for us. We always have a little "play" of the nativity. We also always get to open one present which is always new pjs. We sing songs while Dave plays the guitar - just a great time!

Winter wonderland

The kids had three snow days this week. We really had a great time! Drinking hot cocoa, watching movies, swimming, playing in the snow, doing puzzles, playing games, and making candy!

Todd's b-day!

Todd just had his birthday! Wow - I can't believe he is 13! There is NO way I am that old. He had a great day! It was a snow day so the kids just stayed home and had a great time.

First big snow

Last night we had the first big snow of the season. Actually it is on going! The kids are home today with a snow day. It should keep snowing all day and thru Thurs. WOW! Anyway - it is beautiful! I love these days when we just hang out and play and have hot cocoa! Last night for FHE we played in the snow. We couldn't find our sleds so we found a baby swim tube! Dave pulled the kids on it running around - when that proved too hard - we do have teenagers - we hooked it up to the truck and towed them around the back yard - did I mention how much I love my new house - with LAND!!!

Boys

My boys were sitting on a blanket reading together! I couldn't resist taking a few pictures. But as you can see it ended up being more of a wrestling match! They are so fun!

Haircuts

I just got home from taking Brit and Jess to get their haircut! They look soooooo cute. We had a great evening at the Salon, and doing a bit of shopping. It is fun having teens!

Playground

After visiting with Santa we took the kids to the playground in the mall. It was one of those parenting moments that bring tears to your eyes. Pure joy! My kids were playing so great together - the big kids helping the babies - taking pictures of them - and the babies loving every moment of it. I had such a wonderful time watching them. It was a special moment! Thanks Jess for all the great pictures!

Santa

We went to see Santa today for FHE. IT was so great! I thought Luke would go crazy but he was amazed by the man in red. The babies aren't smiling but they aren't screaming either! So success!

Dad swimming with your clothes on!

Honestly sometimes I think I have 8 kids instead of 7! Our new house has a swimming pool - which we love. Tonight the kids were all in the pool and Dave was watching them - I was in the kitchen - I hear all kinds of screaming and run to the pool to find this..... Yep, he took his tie off and jumped in! Really though he is my hero! What a wonderful father, husband, man!

O' Christmas Tree

We had a great time setting up our Christmas Trees for FHE! I love this time of year. I am so very grateful to our Savior and all that He has done for me. I really love looking at the Christmas lights and thinking about all of my many many blessings! The babies are amazed at the tree. So far they haven't knocked it over. (Knock on wood!)

Day after Thanksgiving Sales

The day after Thanksgiving - Dave's Mom, Sisters, and myself did some damage. We had a great time - even though we woke up at 4:00am! CRAZY!!! It was a blast!
